Berry Picking
The MOT was due on my car a few days ago so I took it in to the garage which was about 3 and half miles away. I decided to walk back home instead of taking the bus which meant that I would have to take the route along the canal. There were plenty of edible berries growing on the hedges by the side of the canal walk and I thought to myself, Hannah would love some of these. Indeed she did. Mom was not particularly pleased that she did not have much of her dinner afterwards.

Nursery Days
It's nursery day today and when your daughter knows that dad is at home, it is that much more of a challenge to take her to the nursery.
Today was such a day. My normal practice on a nursery day would be to closet myself in the room before Hannah wakes up so that she is not aware that I am in but it did not work out that way today.
I had to go downstairs for a cup of tea as I badly needed one and there she was watching Gigglebiz (I think). Well, here's a two year old who has well and truly got daddy wrapped around her little pinky.
All it seems to take is a few 'Daddy..., Daddy...., Daddy' and there I am giving her breakfast, marching her up the stairs, giving her a bath and getting her ready for nursery .... so much for trying to get some work done.
She decided that she did not want to go out with mom, so dad had to take her to the nursery but it was not the nursery that she was thinking of.. oh no! She wanted to go shopping! But first I had to read her for the upteenth time a Noddy story.
She does love the stories which must be a good thing.
Eventually she did go to the nursery showing much displeasure and making me feel very bad indeed.
A man's got to do what a man's got to do!

I am a newbee to this blogging lark so do forgive me if you notice anything out of the accepted norms of blogging.
My daughter Hannah was born in August 2008 and went through a very difficult time at the very early stages of her birth. We are so blessed now to have a fine and healthy girl who has just turned 2 years.
